Love of a Friend
Assalamu 'alaikum
Love of a Friend
Its not like I do not care. It's just too painful for me to contemplate. I do not have too many friends but you two touched my heart and I consider you close. I wondered why it happens to two of my closest friends but we do not question Allah's wisdom do we?
I like you both and I believe each of you is a very special person. Although you do not know each other, you have one thing in common, you are my friend. I have prayed for you both at Maqam Ibrahim and I shall continue to do so insyaAllah. Miracles are no big deal to Him.
I wish we are closer in distance so that I can visit you more. But perhaps its better we're distanced, for I'm not very good at hiding emotions. I do not want to bring sadness when I meant otherwise. What do I say to you that’s not been said before. You've heard it all. I wish I have the words to convey the love I feel for you both. But its like a scene that will never happened. If you happened to read this piece I hope you understand my sentiments and I can consider, message conveyed.
You were always there to pick me up when I'm down and troddened. I will never be able to forget you or be able to repay your kindness. You, on the other hand walked into my life as if we had been best of friends all our lives. You understood my mission like a true compatriot in arms.
I pray my sadness is misplaced and both of you fully recover to resume your role in this world. In any case I am honoured to be your friend and I'm all the better person for knowing you.
